In A Dream Play the daughter of the gods comes to Earth to find out just what is going wrong. She mingles amongst the peoples of the world and as she discovers the depth of the problems the very play itself becomes like a fantastic and beautiful dream.

Peer Gynt, the eternal drifter, never settled, travelling the world, always compromising himself and his friends and yet with an energy that gives him charm and a dynamism that fills the play with the freshness of life lived.

With these two plays Ibsen and then Strindberg reshaped the face of theatre and launched a wave of change that lasted all the 20th century. Daniel Schlusser and Paul Monaghan have created mysterious and exciting productions, which keep them alive for the 21st century. They are performed by the extremely talented Acting Company 2009.
