Call for Papers: Brolga, December 2009

The next issue of Brolga will look at the 'edges' of contemporary choreography in Australia. The edge might represent a dance transition or a turning point.

This volume invites contributions that examine how chorography relates to uncomfortable or alien spaces; or the exposure of bodily edges; or dances which reflect strange states of mind, and again, papers on the edginess of choreography that might comment on social, cultural or geographic edges. Approaches to writing about dance and methods of research which identify the edges of knowledge about choreography are also welcome.

Articles of 4-6000 words should be sent to Rachel Fensham, rachel@fensham.net by 30 September 2009.
