Flinders University is seeking to appoint a lecturer to contribute to the teaching, research and other activities of the Department of Drama. The successful applicant will be expected to: 
  • contribute to the undergraduate and Honours programme in Drama. This will involve the co-ordination of some undergraduate topics and the delivery of lectures, seminars, tutorials and workshops in courses from first year to honours. 
  • contribute to the supervision of Honours and postgraduate students;
  • carry out research and contribute to research activities in the Department of Drama and the School of Humanities;
  • contribute to the administration and coordination of the Drama programme, and assist the Department of Drama in its liaison with students.
The Department of Drama is located within the School of Humanities. It teaches both the practice and theory of drama and includes a highly regarded Drama Centre devoted to the professional training of actors and directors. It also leads AusStage (http://www.ausstage.edu.au), the national research facility for the performing arts, and is an international leader in the application of e-research methodologies to performance analysis.
Salary: Lev B: $69 118 to $82 075 pa
