Interview Call-Out: Documenting AI-Human Playwriting Practices

Are you an Australian playwright who has experimented with an AI platform at any point in the past 2 years?

·What kinds of generative practices did you adopt?
·Were the results inspiring or disappointing?
·Is an ‘ethical’ approach to AI-Human playwriting possible?

If you have views and experiences you would like to share - and have at least one production credit to your name - Dr Richard Jordan at the University of New England would love to hear from you!

In August this year, I will be conducting interviews with Australian playwrights about their opinions on AI-Human playwriting practices. Should you choose to participate, your responses will be included as part of my forthcoming book, Posthuman Drama (Palgrave Macmillan 2026).
