We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for one of ADSA’s most valuable bursaries, designed to support postgraduate students in our vibrant Drama, Theatre, and Performance Studies community.

The Geoffrey Milne Bursary
Supporting up to three postgraduates to attend the 2025 ADSA Conference, including one bursary specifically for a First Nations applicant.
Valued at $600, the bursary covers:
  • ADSA Membership
  • Conference Registration
  • Conference Dinner
Eligibility:
  • Enrolled in a PhD (or MA upgrading to PhD) in Australia or NZ
  • Presenting a paper at the 2025 ADSA Conference
  • Endorsed by their supervisor
  • Application includes a cover sheet and supporting documents
Judging Criteria:
Alignment with the conference theme, benefit of attendance, potential to contribute to the field, and lack of alternate funding.
Deadline: 1 September 2025
