You may already be aware that IFTR will be hosted at University of Melbourne in July 2026, titled 'What Theatre Does'.
But we wanted to draw you attention to the Scenography Working Group call, Scenography in Action: Agency, Activation and Activism: https://iftr.org/scenography/
We aim to explore how performance design can continue to create modes and strategies for encounters, sharing, and learning in a world facing crises, marked by increasing waste production and resource scarcity, but also a world emerging from listening to diverse epistemologies from the Global South. Formats for participation include papers, seminars, flash talks, and other setups by discussion.
